My Lawn: A Guide to Lawn Care App Reviews

Started using this app to determine timing and fertilizer type and it has worked out well. My lawn is real healthy and lush. Had a light of issues with broad leaf weeds and clover but those are gone now. Like how it measures rainfall too such a critical factor to lawn care. Maybe geared to the novice to note. Get this app.

I enjoy learning about the steps to maintaining my lawn. Helps keep me on track for fertilization schedules and when to water. Helps calculate law size to buy right amount of product. Love this app.

Although you could just as easily set up reminders in your calendar for this very task, I feel Scotts has provided a very easy and helpful application. I would love to see some additional features such as more insect treatment but this may require a partnership as I am not sure the Scotts brand carries many of these types of treatment options. Overall a very easy and helpful app!

Nice app for new home owners , who usually dont know anything about lawn care. Tells you what to apply and when to apply it.

Use to work. Now it doesnt show anything and just keeps asking to input information over and over. After I could actually get past the part of putting in lawn conditions and area code it wouldnt show any tips or reminders for anything just blank information. Absolute garbage and probably will never download again.

Im so very impressed with this app because of all the information it has. So very helpful and I was even able to call the company on a holiday and they answered my questions for free. Cant get any better than that.

So far the app tells u what exactly u need to do.. Ill be waiting for results to write another review, if needed

The app was working good until I updated on 5/3/16 now it doesnt even start up

I just downloaded the app, that part was great (thank you). Nothing else runs, I click on the app, it tries to open for a half second, thence suddenly closes. Im running an iPad Air, 128 gigs, not the newest product, but still not a pile of junk. Wish I could say the same for the software.

First of all, I grew up on a farm and learned a lot about grass. When it came time for me to buy my own home and make my lawn the envy of the neighborhood, I decided to turn to Scotts after a 3-4 star lawn last year. This year, with the apps guidance, Ive already got a better lawn than last year. I thought lime and some triple 17 would work fine but nope. This app really gives you personal advice. You input your location, grass type, weed abundance etc and it comes up with a plan to follow. Obviously they want you to use their products but they give you the ingredient list so you can you products you want if you like. Only thing missing is a field to input if you have irrigation system or not. I think that would help. Thanks Scotts!

I used this app all the time last season and loved it! I would give it five stars if it would allow the user to add to the total rainfall amount when you have watered your lawn. To give a more accurate measurement of water totals to the users lawn program. Otherwise I love this app!

Great app! Of course it only recommends Scotts products but to be honest with you, I have had a very good experience with Scotts products in the past. I do wish this app had some sort of interactive rain/watering meter that would allow you to add the amount of water rained and watered to keep track of it weekly (Thus the 4 star instead of 5 star rating). Still a great app with a lot of nice features, I highly recommend it!

This app has really helped me know what to do and when to do it where my yard is concerned. Rating my yard was easy and the recommendations were timely.
