My Lawn: A Guide to Lawn Care App Reviews

I love the app but I would like to see specific treatment ideas for harder to treat weeds. Such as bindweed.

App seems to work very well for what I need. Im not a lawn enthusiast at all. So it really simplifies things for me and tells me what I should be using based on my lawn conditions.

Every time I log in it asks me for my location and yard info like it did when I started using the app. It worked great at first but now I can review my plan. Once I enter my information it goes through all the prompts and then takes me back to the enter your zip code screen. Fix it and Ill change my rating!!!

Keeps asking for my zip code after entering all of the information. Contacted Scotts support and they said there was a known problem with the My Lawn app with no estimated fix.

I am very happy about this app! When I was using my calendar, I used a range of dates with reminders... Well I could not remember if I did or didnt do it. Now I can tell at a glance which product needs to be applied and that I completed the job.

Awesome app!! I had hired 2 professional companies and lawn was never right!! Followed this app and lawn looks better than it ever has!! Thanks Scotts!!

App wont creat lawn care plan. Entering all information, then clicking "create plan" takes me right back to the begging where I enter my zip code. Meh.

Have tried many turf companies and always to find no great difference! This app lets me feel like I can manage my ( not perfect neighbors yard) without all the cost and feel like Im confident in what I doing thanks to their expert advice!! Have tried so many different ways to manage my yard and this FREE app is by far the best results yet! My yard is not perfect but the best it has looked ever and all from a free, easy to follow app! I love all the reminders and suggestions!

Ever since Ive updated my iPhone to ios10 the app does not work properly. Before updating my phone it worked great. But since the update It just keeps asking me to enter my lawn info to calculate my lawn plan. After enter said info, it just goes back to the beginning asking me again for my lawn info. Please update app and fix this bug.

I would love to use this app again. However, I cant get past the setup process. When it worked it was great. When trying to set up the plan it allows me to enter in all the info. Once done it starts the calculation then jumps back to the start. It will not let me past this portion of the app. This may be due to a IOS 10 conflict but, I am not sure.

Every since iOS 10 my app is stuck in loop, keeps asking zip code, grass type, etc. then starts over. Tried deleting app then reinstalling but same problem. Please fix.

This app is very easy to use. Love the reminders to help keep me on track with my lawn care.

This app and the Scotts website suffer from the same problem. After going through the initial setup it takes you right back to the beginning of the setup process. There is no option to skip the process the second time, you just end up in an infinite loop of telling them about your lawn.

Love this app. Tells me what apply, when to apply and weather conditions. No excuse not to have a lush green lawn. Thank you Scotts!!

While I know its a marketing tool at its core, the information is helpful. The app is well designed and easy to use. The one improvement Id like to see is more information to help identifying grass type.

I have A house and a rental house whos lawns couldnt be more different. It would be helpful to have the ability to do multiple lawns

Its a great help to see what is to be applied and when . Only recommendation - ability to identify what type of grass or weed using phone camera so that there is no confusion on selecting fertilizer food or other products

I like this app. I use it a lot. It obviously funnels its users to Scotts products (okay by me), but it also provides a framework for how, and when, to use them. It could be so much more though. Why does it force portrait mode? Most apps allow flexibility for portrait or landscape modes. I have large front and back lawns. How about giving me the option to put in dimensions and condition for front and back separately? The yard measuring function using satellite views of your yard is great! Users should be aware that its just a gross measurement and direct measurements are best. The precipitation reading for your registered zip code, for determining optimal watering, seems to track with other sources--jury is still out on that. Would like to know what weather station/source the tool uses.

Super easy helpful app. This really takes the guesswork out of what you need to apply to your yard no matter what type of grass or where you live. Im never taking care of my yard and I didnt want to do a bunch of homework to find out exactly what I should be doing; this app really helped me and my yard out.

I have recommended it to several friends and family members. Thanks Scotts for making lawn care easy!
